I am biased.  Suzanne Goin can do no wrong in my eyes.  We did an entire Sunday Supper using five of the recipes in this cookbook.  My favorites, in order:  

Lamb meatballs with spiced tomato sauce
Sweet Potatoes with spinach, bacon and romesco
Atlantic Sea Scallops with Saffron Potatoes and Blood Orange Meyer Lemon Salsa
Bacon wrapped dates with Parmesean
Balsamic-Glazed Brussel Sprouts with Pancetta.  

Yes, there is a bacon in 3 out of 5 of the dishes.  Guilty. Bacon. Lover.
